Thanks for such kind words. The measurements for Jan. 7th is when I began getting serious about losing weight. I would really contribute it to doing Tae Bo. I really have not consistantly done anything else. As you know while breastfeeding it is almost impossible to "diet". I just try to not eat a whole lot of junk. After my son was born I would eat Devil Dogs like they were going out of style (easy, fast sugar rush!). I haven't had one in months now. I just try to get the morning exersize thing in everyday. I have been sick on and off for like the last month so I has been a challange but I think I am finally on the mend so I HOPE I can start really losing some weight along with all the inches I have dropped. I really want to look good for the summer. I also want people to say "you have 3 kids?" I hear it some now cause I am a real young looking 30 y/o but I really want my body back to the shape it was before kids.........well as much as I can. I don't know how much help that was but if I can do it YOU can do it!!

Take care,

Tara

LOL Sharon, My Hubby is 40 (10 years older than me) and he watches me work my butt off to get in shape. He will never do Tae Bo BUT I got a stability ball and he is interested in learning moves on that. He also has dreams of getting on his bike and riding a fe miles in the morning before work. He is not too bad yet...6' 2" and about 220. You are right they just gotta do it on there own.

Take care,

Hey I feel the same way! I'm on the other hand a young looking 40 y/o and I love to hear all the time "Your forty with 3 children looking like that"? Hey I get a kick out of it :) I love my kids being proud of their mommy too. Isn't it a great feeling? You are going to look fab for the summer...guranteed! You just keep doing what you're doing. I'm tryin to get my husband into it. He just seems to be so stubborn. I just can't force him into it you know. He does get really jealous though :) People don't believe he is my husband because he is older then me and over weight. I wish he could do Taebo with me. :( Ohhhh well! Tara and Sharon,

As a Husband I can tell you that we do listen to our wifes. It was when my wife said that I looked like I was 7months pregnate and jokenly called me belly boy that I realized that I needed to lose weight also I went to the dotor and was told that I had high cholesteral. At that time I weighed 245lbs. and was diagnosed with asthma. Well I started to diet and went to the gym and got down to 210lbs. that got my cholesteral under controll and I have not had an asthma attack in over 2 years. I quite the gym 1 1/2 years ago so I could go back to school. I manage with diet alone to stay around 205-210, but I want to get back into the shape I was in when I got out of the army. Now I am trying Tae-Bo. Iike it because of the martial arts moves in it and has fun with his class. After I finish school this summer I plan to add a regular weight training into the mix so I can get back some of my muscler strength as well.RichTara Hall wrote:

I agree with Rich 100%. I was going to say the same thing!
