Guest guest
Quite clear that no one will participate on this list when I'm here. pha, in one of our long pleasant phone calls, made a point to tell me that I ran off all the good people. Please: good people arise. This is a worthy list. I, like mike, have no personal investment in it. Just -- alice is such a great gift, a great example; the divine guest, the heart, the path, the way. And Jung -- my perspective is here. Just so you know he's not my religion, my cult. All the things that those who have forgotten how to think symbolically say. http://jungcircle.com/muse/jung.html http://jungcircle.com/muse/alt.html I leave you with this, and go with a light heart: http://www.juliansociety.org/bookstore.htm Blessings to Helios and all Deborah
Guest guest
Dear nancy, If i read your short note correctly, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your son,and the anguish you must be feeling. and love, Toni Re: the Egyptian religion Hey Deb, It is not down to you that people are not posting. This list has been really quiet for ages. Most of us are talking on junglife (the two 's new list, after the demise of jung-l). N: Do you mean that just walked off and abandoned Jung-l without a word? Sorry if that sound dumb, but I lost my 2nd son on Nov. 17th and it wasn't until reading this today that I checked Jung-l and realized nothing had been posted since Nov. 24. Guest guest
Yikes, where did you get this idea. I find you to be a valuable resource. Stay! Guest guest
Thank you all of you for your warmth. AND generous kindness. I know very well a man could fall to his death through the gaps in my knowledge. It's been good to have give and take again recently, and even feel something enough to share it. Like from Clephland says, takes time to recover from these presidential installations. I well understand not responding, but reading with appreciation. Do it often. In no way would I belittle any of you as un - best or un-good people, toni. You silly. Never meant it that way. The burn, the fire, the INF: we blame ourselves first. Was only that so many of the usual old folks are gone: that's what hit me. And that also when they've been here since I've stopped in (after an absence of years) -- people who used to be what I considered friends don't respond, as in Dear x and not Dear deb, in a thread. Exclusion was obvious to one who doesn't want to be a party crasher, but an ember stirrer. Leper -- that's not the effect you hope to have. It's not a need to be responded to. I speak out of pure reflex. (Yes, it's pure selfishness, things that might eat at me. Also the more I do with fiction, the less well I do straight man. And the bitterness of politics... these last four years.) Anyway -- only this: it's alice's list. fa said it's been quiet because they've all found a new home. Well that's nice, I think right off. And mean it. And also understand I won't be a bottle of the light of that particular star. Just so you know where to find alice, I'm happy. Enough. Just a mumbled thank you to old faithful. x's deborah
Guest guest
Dear Deb (replying late as I have been in Cyprus) > > Anyway -- only this: it's alice's list. fa said it's been quiet because > they've all found a new home. The other lists are as well as not instead of, and we all love Alice. I have been to see her, as have many of the list members, and we all love and value her and this list. I look forward to sharing with my Jung friends in 2005 and that totally includes you, Deb. And Alice, and all the fire-folk. I may be in Oz in Feb (please all cross fingers that it works out) - so will be away from the computer for a while, but will send you all my love and (FWTW) musings as and when I can. I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that we can all hope for the future (that sounds muddly but you know what I mean). love, fa
