Guest guest
atd - I just found out I'm pregnant, and due to lack of energy, I've been unable to work out for about 3 weeks now. I hope that my energy returns soon, because I miss moving. I'm told that you can do anything you did before the pregnancy, but avoid over-exertion and heavy lifting. Basically, listen to your body. don't let your heartrate get too high, I believe that 140 is the limit (I could be wrong on that). good luck... let me know... if you are pregnant, we could start a tae-bo pregnancy support group! -Mindi TaeBo & Pregnancy??????? Just wondering if anyone knows, if TaeBo is safe to do if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant? What tapes would be safe to use to stay active and keep up a healthy lifestyle during pregnanacy? If anyone has past experience with this matter, I'd love your imput! Thanks. As Deb has said: "Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step.""This isn't about weight loss, it's about enlightenment" -Visit our new vault site http://taeboon.isportsdot.com/
Guest guest
The general thumb of rule, is if you've been doing something for at least 6 months, then you can continue during your pregnancy. But you always want to check with your doctor, incase other things are going on. Darcy can answer best, but I don't think there's any workout you *can't* do. You just want to watch the intensity and keep your heart rate down. Then of course, you'll have to start modifying some moves once the belly gets bigger. Guest guest
I was told that you want to keep your heartrate at 140 or below. NO jumping / bouncing, and NO lifting over 25 LBS. Light activities are best, walking, water arobics, light hand weights, etc. There are some Pregnancy workouts you may have to check those out. I would think you could do some of the leg floor work to strengthen and tone your legs. Just watch out for any ab work. I have not done any workouts since I have been pregnant. I have just been too tired. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant now, and I have not had any energy the whole time. but that could be because I wasn't working out much before I got pregnant either. I can't wait to get back into it after this kid is born. I also didn't dare risk anything happening. Talk to your Dr. They will be able to tell you what is best. I just received the 2004 tapes for a birthday present from a freind. And I picked up the Flex and Cardio a couple months ago since they were so cheap. So I now have plenty to choose from. I may have to try and get a couple more of the ultimate tapes. I only have the lower body one.
