Have you compared the price of healthy food with the price of artificially formulated and processed foods? As someone living on a fixed and limited income I can speak from experience when I say that it ain't easy to eat well and yet, I'm obese by any standards. And it hurts so much when I consider that I used to run marathons and ride horses and do " all the right things. The problem, as I see it, in eating healthy is that it's a nuisance and no fun, not that it is expensive. Most of the Central Americans I've seen - especially among the poor - are thin.
