Guest guest
This is interesting. Specifically, what type of detox did you start? I have a question for all of you. I've started a Detox regimen with Tristan this week. It is similar to the Epson salt baths. It isn't anything strong but still something that should over time help. Yesterday he came home from school complaining that his ears hurt and he had a sore throat. He woke up at 2 a.m with a 104 degree fever and screaming and crying about his ears. He also has a headache and stomach ache. We went to the doctor this morning and his ears were fine but his tonsils are very red and inflamed (no puss though) and his glands are very swollen. She feels the ear pain is cause by the throat and glands. She did a rapid strep test and it came back negative but she feels when she sends the test away it will come back positive. Even though there was no puss she said he had all the symptoms of strep. I've read some people speaking about their kids having strep problems and not realizing it. I realize there is no way to know for sure because of the time of year it is but is it possible the this could be brought on by the Detox? Guest guest
Hi, Probably sore tonsils not caused by the detox, but, detox can lower resistance and open us up to stuff. However, don't assume it's strep it could be a virus that acts like strep. I would be cautious about assuming it's strep cause they want to give antibiotics for strep. If it's a virus, the antibiotic not only won't work, but it will not be good for gut issues. My very typical grandson had that virus and it lasted for 10 days, tested for strep 3 times, negative every time. He got better on his own with not meds. Hope this helps. > > I have a question for all of you. I've started a Detox regimen with Tristan > this week. It is similar to the Epson salt baths.
