At 33 many would think that I am too young to know as much as I do. I was a

SAR dog handler for over 7 years. The one thing I learned from that and from

being a cops wife... love what you have while you have it. You are only

given one hour glass of life to live, don't let others tip it! Help others

and you will help yourself. Teach others and you will learn. VOLUNTEER.

Learn to meditate, find your inner self and you will be in control of your

life in this world. These are the things I believe in, and that I try to

live my life by. OH, and one more thing.. I tell it as I see it. I don't

hold things in, but I do respect others feelings and have learned tact over

my years. :)

Thanks to all who welcomed me! :)

Is there anyone from MI here?

I do have to chuckle.. I finally got my hubby to join me on my evening workouts. He does pretty well, considering haveing never done anything like this before! I have a black belt background from many years ago in TKD, so for me, jumping right into the advanced was nothing. For him however... it has been a new experience for sure! (Whoever said they dont' like the lunges and squats.. I agree!! The lunges don't bother me so much, but those squat/holds sure do!! Oy!)

*brag*

We went out with friends to a local dance club last night. It was the first time in many months we had gone out. I bought a new top that really showed my midsection. I was a little nervous at first, but once I got out and started dancing and noticed folks watching me, I felt like I was on cloud nine! lol A couple of my friends asked if I had been "working" out, to which I proudly said.. I do Tae Bo every night at home. Now, they too are interested in trying it. :) Although I still have a ways to go till I am happy, I was also energized to come home and work out some more! (I didn't, as we closed the pub down.. but I did NOT drink any alcohol, which is what it normally takes for me to get on the dance floor! Drank my full quota of water plus a ton more though! lol)

Another question...

Has anyone on here had BA and is doing Tae Bo? Would love to talk to someone PRIVATELY if there is! mchritz@...

Again, thanks all! Off to sweat some!

What's BA?

Gymmie in Cali

The difference between fit and fat is "I"

What you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't as important as what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving

God loves us in good times and in bad times. But He is even more real in our lives when we are having tough times. Coach Joe Gibbs

Hi ! Welcome! Guess you are crazier than me...7 dogs?? :) I have 4

myself and altho they are fun, they wear me out! I've also heard that the

African Grey's are wonderful pets. My husband had one earlier in life and

one day we hope we have enough time and space for another one for him...I'm

a big chicken of birds tho!
