do you have an idea as to what is causing the inflammation? other than

being genetically predisposed to it? I have spent a lot of time at

www.autismanswer.com There is lots of useful information there including

what to do about inflammation. Are you familiar with Dr. Amy's work? she

uses genetics to guide vitamin protocols.

Hi ne,

Each test I've had shows inflammation, especially C-Reactive Protein, which is

three times the normal limit.

I have visited the autistic groups, very intelligent people! Sounds silly but I

often wished I had one of those moms working with me! They are certainly a

committed group. I am familiar with Dr. Amy and I believe she works with Dr.

Gordon? At one time, I'd looked into possibly getting an appt. with her, but

she was booked solid. In fact, I don't think they were even accepting new

patients at that time? Plus, she's very pricey. They sell some of the genetic

products on line I think?

Have you heard a lot of positive input about her therapies?

Take Care,

I have heard good things about Dr. Amy - even researchers who work with

people who have chronic fatigue are going to her for help. I thought that

since you had had genetic testing done, you might be able to find some

answers at her website. She has a really good chart to help a person figure

out where there genetic problems fit in. Have you seen it? Depending on

where your problems are you might want to buy some of her products. She

also has recommendations for inflammation I thought.

I don't know about Dr. Gordon so can't comment.

It seems to me though that there must be a cause for the inflammation or do

you think you are just genetically predisposed to it? Possible causes are

leaky gut, virus's, or high levels of metals.

HI Becky!

RE: : Re: steroids

well jhust to keep in touch here as you all know I was in the

hospital for ivs then prednisone at home well it has been 3 weeks and

today I drove my car and am stronger.....how can I chat with you all??

Becky also I wason ldn but my dr will not prescribe it any more and I

hate that he says the side efects can be heart failure anyone here

heard of that/?also anyone here know about provigil and neurotin and

saide effects there?? Becky here in Iowa

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

All the known side affects are from taking 50mg which is the dosage used

for drug abuse withdrawel. There are no known side affects from taking

4.5mg (1/10 the normal dosage). Having your Dr prescribe LDN is always

a challenge because the therapy was not invented by the medical

community. Don't give up. Just keep documenting what LDN therapy can

do. I always go to www.lowdosenaltrexone.org for the latest info. They

just completed a conference on LDN and have papers which were presented

online.

LDN seems to have many more uses than just treating MS.
