Hey Daniea :)

I had that (coupled with a heart rate of 30-40 beats per minute) when

I was on LDN. ~Hugs~ Russ:))

Dear a,

You might have an electrolyte imbalance, e.g., too much calcium and not

enough magnesium. A blood test and/or hair analysis would probably

reveal what the imbalance is. I had something similar, and when I added

a potassium and magnesium supplement, the problem went away.

All the best,

Dear a,

When taking a supplement, the recommended ratio of calcium to magnesium

is 2 to 1. See, for example, the mention of these two minerals at

http://www.eclecticherb.com/products.supplements.html

This company sells a multivitamin/mineral formulation called " Vital

Force. " It is the best multi I have come across so far. The recommended

dosage (six tablets a day) provides, among many other nutrients, 900 mg

of calcium (90% of the RDA) and 450 mg of magnesium (113% of the RDA) in

the form of a readily absorbed amino acid chelate--and that without

gluten, sugar, dairy, etc. The major weakness of this product is that

six tablets only provides 100 IU's of vitamin D (25% of the RDA), so I

take a separate vitamin D supplement that gives me about 800 IU's daily.

All the best,

Dudley

Hi a,

In my opinion merucry filling do not cause MS directly, if they did then

everyone on the planet would have MS. Its one contributory factor that

weakens an already weakend immune system and its the last straw for

some. If you are doing general detox, meaning bowel and liver cleaning,

its perfectly safe with fillings still in. If you are specifically doing

mercury removal, then they recommend getting the metal fillings out

first. You can look up Hal Huggins online and his website has lots of

info on this subject. . If you are planning a baby, I would do

everything in my power to first get my immune system stronger, eating

better and supplements every day. Having a baby even when you are not

sick is hard work and depletes the body, so if you are already depleted

of things, you risk getting weaker and also having a sick baby. I am not

a beliver that MS is permanent or cannot be cured, I believe it has many

root causes and each one has to be addressed and the body needs to heal

over time when all theses things are addressed. I know many people who

were diagnosed with MS are not completely in remission for years and

years, so plan your future, but make sure excellent diet and nutrition

are part of it.

Maybe caffeine? But why do you think there is a problem if

Is there any time it's worse? Is it worse after a high

fat meal, for example?

I'll tell you this because it's interesting. I have no idea if this

could help you or not though.

My friend has a genetic disease (sorry I forget what it's called) that

causes her to have an irregular heartbeat. Her cousin died at 30

years of age from this. I had a magnetic necklace (from Nikken) with

me and loaned it to her while I was visiting. Her heart rate went

back to normal. She bought one for herself and never had a problem

with it again.

Sometimes it's cause by an electrical disturbance in the body. EFT

might help to. See www.emofree.com for a free manual and loads of

info.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU CHECKED OUT CRAZYMEDS WEBSITE REGARDING

HEART PROBLEMS AND ANTI-DEPRESSANTS. THERE WAS SOME INFO

THERE BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ANTI-DEPRESSANTS YOU TOOK, AND

I ALSO RAN OUT OF TIME ON MY DAY OFF.

Hi a,

You have to realize that just because you have a diagnosis of MS, that

will not mean other totally unrelated symptoms will come up. This is the

most common thing I see with people with Chronic illness. ONce they have

a diagnosis, they think everything that is wrong is that disease. The

real truth is that by the time you have any chronic illness, your body

is sick, its not functioning right, you are dieficient in nutrients,

your body is stressed and the immune system does not have a clue what

its suppose to do anymore. Its either killing off its own good cells, or

letting cancer run rampant. having your hormones out of whack is pretty

common these day. With the hormones in every thing, like meat, dairy and

our drinking water everyone is affected. Kids are starting puberty at

age 8!! If you look at your body as whole, not some parts, then you will

have better luck. I would suggest a naturopath or wholistic doctor if

you are tired of being thrown some drugs for the symptoms. I started

perim -menopause when I was 40 and the doctor said I was nuts to think

that is what was happening. Finally after 3 years of symptoms he agreed

that is what was going on. But first they prescirbed anti-depressants,

like that was going to keep me from going toward Menopause, what a bunch

of dopes. ANyway, now days you have to be pro-active with your health,

if you wait on the doctors to figure out what to do you could wait

forever. Start taking steps now to get your body going back in the right

direction, its the only road to health, not drugs.

Excellent idea. Wish I'd thought of it. S. Szpak

an IPOD looking thing that you just push when you are having an

Sorry to waste our time a. This is not much

there about heart problems and Lexapro. Some info

below. The thing is you don't take this drug anymore.

____________________________________________________________

These drugs seem to be in the same class from what I understand.

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors. Lexapro among them.

Carol sent this to me via personal e-mail by mistake: (S. Szpak)

=====================================================================

a,

I have a condition called WPW, which causes irregular heartbeat.

But, arrhythmia can also be caused by magnesium deficiency. Do you

take magnesium? Also, if you take calcium and no magnesium, or even

more calcium than magnesium, that can cause a magnesium deficiency

in some people, who have a tendency for magnesium deficency. I am

one of those people and it's how I discovered all this. I'd taken

twice as much calcium as magnesium for 15 years. Then, went to a

Naturapath, who ran tests on my magnesium and calcium levels,

(because he knew the current 2 to 1 ratio, favoring calcium, is

wrong for many people), and I was hypercalcemic, (too much calcium

in the blood which can be dangerous), and magnesium deficient.
