resistance balls

Hi all! I'm a long time Taeboer with a question about the resistance

balls. I can't justify new workouts right but would like some

information on how to use the resistance balls in my other workouts.

I have a pair of, for lack of a better description, squishy balls

(like for stress relief or forarm workouts. They aren't weighted but

I thought I might benefit from the resistance if I could just figure

out how to do it. I only saw the informercial once and that wasn't

enough time to figure out exactly how to use the balls. If anyone

who has used or uses them could give me some instuctions or tips I'd

be eternally grateful. Thanks.

OK, I am really bad at explainng things so I hope this makes sence. The balls are just there for added weight really. I think the stress balls you have a probaly the same thing that the balls I have are. What he really has you do in the tapes is squeeze the balls at the end of the punch. He says he wants to see your fingers moving a lot. On the Energy Tape he does not have you use the balls but I do anyways. They are like 1/2 lb so it just adds a little weight. It helps you focus on where your hands are & you can really feel it in your shoulders and triceps. I really hope this makes sence!

Take care,

Tara

Hi There,

I use the resistence balls with my other TaeBo workouts and am really

reaping the benefits from it. My shoulders and arms are becoming much more

sculpted. I squeeze the 1/2 lb balls in each hand during the workout and

can't believe what that little change has made to my body. WOW!!

-- I agree. When I did the 'Strength' workout from the 2004

series, my biceps were sore the next day. I couldnt believe that 1/2 lb

would have that effect. I know some of it had to do with the contractions

but still it was different for me.

Hi !!!!!!!!!

How have ya been?!?!?!?!

My brain can't think how to describe some of the moves without confusing you. When you execute the move, to squeeze the ball. Like when you punch, squeeze the ball once you've gotten to the punch. I can't remember if any of the live ones have it, but I know at least one of the TV workouts have this move. But he'll have you do a front knee raise and hold it. In one of them, he has us put the ball under our knee and squeeze the ball. I remember in one of them, we had both balls in one hand, but I don't 'member what move we did it on.
