Guest guest
I have been doing Taebo on and off for 4 years now. During the past 4 years I have not achieved good results from Taebo alone. I have always mixed up my exercise. However, every time I have consistently done Taebo for a period of time (eg 3 weeks), I seem to bulk up or have the illusion of gaining weight. My body seems to tone up a bit, but my clothes fit a bit tighter. This can be discouraging at times and thats what usually gets me to switch to something else, or just run on my treadmill. I have seen numerous before and after pictures of people who have lost a lot of weight with Taebo, so I know it does work. But how long do you have to kick and box before the weight comes off. Right now I don't do much running or Taebo since I had a injury on my leg and been advised to do more stretching to allow healing. I love Taebo, its energizing, but I was just wondering what others have experienced. Guest guest
Is the scale the only way you are measuring your progress? Try using a measuring tape, or getting bodyfat tested. A good eating plan will also help you loose weight in conjunction with Taebo and strength training. There are several plans out there, it just depends on what fits you and your lifestyle. Personally I'm following BFL but there is also WW, Atkins, Zone, Carb Addicts, Somersize, etc. I think the best results come from a combination of diet, cardio and strength training. Guest guest
Everyone is different. For me, it started right away. I lost 30 pounds in the first 3 months. Within the first month, I lost 10 or 11 pounds and folks were ALREADY noticing the loss. Nobody knew that I was doing anything. I started getting all these compliments and everyone was saying they could see I was losing. So that was definitely a NSV. I've beend doing Tae Bo, with occasional Footworks the last almost 5 years. That's how I lost all my weight, was Tae Bo. I wanted to get some strength training in, but had a hard time finding something I'd like. But I finally found some weight workouts that I enjoy, so now I can get that resistance training and get nice and buff °Ü°!!!!!!!! Gymmie in Cali °Ü° The difference between fat and fit is "I" What you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't nearly as important as what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving
