Guest guest
I also had problems with my gallbladder. I had to have mine taken out. Dr. B said it is common with us because of all the meds we are on. Christel Gallbladder Hi everyone, I don't post too often but read your posts daily. I had a 14 mm herniation before I had Decompression surgery Feb. 8, 2008 with Dr. Milhorat and Dr. Bolognese in New York. I then had tethered cord surgery with them on October 22, 2008. Two weeks ago I had a gallbladder attack. On Wednesday I had an ultrasound done and I have multiple gallstones and the walls of my gallbladder are inflamed. I see a surgeon on Monday. I was wondering how many other people had this happen after decompression and tethered cord surgery. Any input anyone has on this would be helpful! Guest guest
I had this happen before my CCF and TCS. About three years ago, I had a small bowel obstruction...Caused from scar tissue adhering to the small bowel.. I had two feet of my small intestine removed, appendix, and illeo cecal valve. It was know fun!!!...About two months after I recovered from this surgery, my gallbladder quit functioning. So I had it removed. The surgeon says that it is common for the gall bladder to go bad after a small bowel obstruction. I'm not sure it has much to do with the CCF or TCS...I would agree with Dr. B that is probably from numerous medications.
