Hello my Friends,

Thanks to everyone who responded to my message. I so felt like I was

whining but I realize now that it was okay to whine. I'm looking out

for my family first and that's what I should be doing while not

beating myself up for current situation.

I must tell you of my news though. I was very brave, as one of my

dear friends put it, I was Fiercely Brave and I called my SIL and

reminded her of her promise. With lots of shock and ill feelings

she has agreed to fulfill her promise and come for 10 days to care

for HER father. I will have to care for him for the last 4 days of

MIL's trip. But I am so okay with that arrangement. I have lost a

lot of sleep over this but I must say, it's invigorating to be

setting these boundaries. Boundries I should have set awhile back.

Live and learn I say.

My MIL wasn't too happy with this as now my SIL is unable to come in

August. I guess the two of them had some plans for that time, but I

have put a kink in their get along, as Dizz would say. I don't

understand why she is unable to come, finances are usually no

problem with them, and the time has already been set aside? But I

don't care, I got her to keep her promise and that's all I care

about.

Thanks on the info for the UTI kit. I will attempt this

while mother is away. And Donna I do plan to have MIL make the

arrangements for the POA, and whatever we'd need while she's gone.

Just in case!

You guys are the best of the best. I knew that if I came to y'all

I'd get the info I needed to get through this. My own father is very

proud of me. He said that I have acted very intelligently and

bravely. Cool! It's hard to get my dad's approval, so WOW!

But I couldn't have done without your help my dear dear friends.

Thanks.

Tori

Good for you! I'm glad you stuck up for yourself and spoke to your SIL

and that she will be doing as she promised.
