Janet, I have read that you are going to transfer your husband to a

nursing home. This has reminded me of sad memories, not so far in

time...You say yr husband is combative, also my father at a certain

point in his sickness became like that, I still can see him shouting

loud like if someone were trying to hurt him...Its been the worst

part of the whole hell, I think, and i understand when you say that

you cant do it by yourself. As you maybe know, I got the chance of

placing my father in a n.h., when he broke his femur and was

hospitalised. So I believe that you must get this chance and not

wait for the summer. Probably, later it could be less easy. As for

my experience I can tell you that your life will change alot, you

will feel surprised that you wont have anymore to handle certain

problems...But I must also tell you that, loving so much yr husband,

you will suffer the same: visiting him in a place like a nursing

home, will often make you feel bad, and also guilty, and you will

regret many things that you were used to complain about...Im not

saying all this to mean that you are doing a wrong thing, on the

contrary, I feel that you, as me, have been doing all and

more....only now the time has come for a changing... I hope that

everything will be okay, and that your husband will move there

without much troubles...I wish you good luck and hug you with much
