Guest guest
Health aspects to postural drainage - first thing I can think of is blood pressure, and that would depend of degree and duration of incline... When in hospital – only time since decades ago – usually only slight incline or one pillow... I’ve had ‘tipping’ myself from a bed or other furniture recommended and my response is they try it out, especially when they feel really rotten, have a whopping headache, hung-over, anything that can slightly approximate what it’s like for someone very ill from an infx having to tip / get up to cough / tip ....etc repeatedly..... LOL!!!! Not funny! Percussion shouldn’t be deleterious – if it feels too painful say so, say where you want it, and not.... Direct your physio, they’re usually accommodating...., no problem. joy
