Do you know the average income? >>> I think it depends on the area, and your experience. At the gym I go to, trainers make from $20 an hour up to $50 an hour, but my town is not that big. Of course you won't make a lot of money until you build up your clientele, and that just takes time. Personal training is a rapidly growing industry, so check into it if you're interested!! <<<You must be very fit to be able to be a trainer? Are you fit?>>> I've been working out for 2-1/2 years now. I lost 45 pounds during that time so I haven't always been fit. I weigh about 123 now and the last time I had my body fat checked, it was 15.3% (although realistically I think it's probably a little higher than that). Do I look like an aerobics instructor who teaches 5 classes a day? No. I probably won't ever. But I'm in shape and happy with myself. I have problem areas, and always will.
