Guest guest
Thanks ... I just hope we can get to that point! I was raised in large homes, Our largest Tiara was 8 bedrooms but both my parents worked fulltime plus overtime to do that. Mom never cleaned her own home! Still doesn't. To her that's major. I enjoy cleaning my own home ... she thinks I'm nuts. I'd hate to think what they would have done had something happened to their jobs! She retired after was on his own. To me its a small home bigger than I have now but still small in comparison to what I was used to. See 5 bedrooms seem huge but we have a master plus Jake, Kris that's 3 add a baby thats 4 bedrooms plus a guest! So in reality it is not so extravagant! I had my own bathroom since I was 10 so I would want at least one on each level but I think a personal one isn't necessary... Now as a teen I think I would have been horrified had it been taken away. But now that I've lived a little in reality because I've never gone to my parents for anything... loan etc I appreciate things differently! I'm willing to wait, pay cash have a little less instead of my credit maxed out! My parents always had huge home and car payments... I do not have a car payment nor does my hubby. I drive a Ford Escort wagon and my husband a Ford Ranger ... We could have more expensive cars with payments but we paid cash for them! If I worked full time we would have more but I'd rather be home with the kids and save for awhile to get it. I have my own business so I would want my own office , my husband has a side business as well. We each have our own office here. He has over 15 computers with parts everywhere, I could not spread out papers in there. I do genealogy including books so I would need the flat space, I also do scrapbook pages for people which requires flat space as well. Our needs are different! My goal is to save money and buy the property then build as we have the money no loans involved! Guest guest
My first main business is genealogy, I do family research $18.00 an hour plus expenses. I am currently working with a client who wants 7 books by Thanksgiving. when I do over 3 books I do an extra copy for their local library. That gets my name out as well. I also do scrapbook pages for $7.00 a page scrapbook provided, Those I've done are mostly single pages for baptism gifts, Christmas gifts and anniversary gifts. I did gifts for Cor's and my parents a mirror theme of cor and I at the same ages on opposite pages. They loved the books. his dad was in NC and was unable to come due to his health. it helped him see me from baby to our engagement photo... His army page to my college page etc. I used to spend 200+ a month at the scrapbook store. I have not advertised nor have redone my business cards since I ran out this summer.I bought more cards I just need to print them. Do you have a scrapbook store there? They sometimes do crops where you go there. I've done classes here. I save everything! My dairy queen page from our honeymoon was really cute! www.scrapnetwork.com is a great layout idea I've referred some beginners to! Mulberry paper on special occasion photo's add a lot of class! It costs about 75 cents a sheet but the result is beautiful. Take a q tip and wet it then tear gently. I did an all night scrap this past spring... Big hit! I'm a sticker and die cut person others are paper but I tend to stick with plaids and solids because they look more professional. Let me know what you think of the sight! Guest guest
Can someone lead me in the right direction for WOW. I have this written down in some of my notes that I spuriously write when reading the numerous posts from numerous groups. I've googled it and don't find anything referencing ms, etc. Thank you.
