Our approach is eclectic and integrative and incorporates the study of Freud and Jung as well as post classical and contemporary theories such as Object Relations, Self-Psychology, Creative Arts Therapy, Relational Psychoanalysis and Intersubjective Theory. Now in our 34th year, IEA was founded by Dr. Arthur Robbins in 1978 and is a NYS approved training psychoanalytic institute which fulfills the requirements for psychoanalytic licensure.
