Guest guest
Hello Rita, Thanks for giving me a spot on your freg. I*t makes me feel good to be remembered. We need all the support we can get. I went shopping today at wal-mart. We have a big new store and there is always a large crowd. This is a place where you can see people that you have known for ages. I got a cart-put the ox bottle in the basket and took off. Was going to make pit stop by the rest room when i spied a friend that was with me on my 2nd heart attack. We started talking and he wanted to know about the ox bottle. One thing and another in small talk and he told me his girl friend is dying with cancer. In end stage with hospic and cancer. I am too sensitive and wear my feelings on the cuff. I started crying and told him I'd see him later. I try not to let my wife see me this way. She is the strongest person I know. Rita I think it's great that you have found a way to express yourself. God Bless Grey Flowers Hi All: I made flowers this afternoon for some of you and plastered them on my 'fridge. Guest guest
Grey, Maybe you wife needs to see you cry and be allowed to cry also. Crying TOGETHER is a very humbling experience. She needs to know how much you care. That you did not choose this beast, it choose you. It may help her to greive with you, and not by herself. The more grief we share the easier it will be for them to grieve when we are no longer with them. That's what my family tells me. Guest guest
Rita, Such a lovely idea, the flowers on the fridge. Please put one on there for my dear wife Joan of 56 years, IPF 06/04. Any kind would do. As you may know, I am her caregiver. I had to take her to emergency ON Mother's Day morning and just got her back yesterday. Her heart and kidney functions are shutting down and Hospiss is here. My two daughters (thank God) are here helping me. We have her set up in our largest room, the living room. I have her back on 7L but she was on 15L right after arriving in the ER. Believe it or not, the doc prescribed pred a few days ago and it has helped with her breathing; a temporary thing I think. I'll try and keep you all informed; my house is chaotic right now. God Bless, Bob in Utah Caregiver, Joan 06/

Guest guest
Dear Bob, I am keeping you and your family in constant prayer. My mother just died of lung cancer March 15. Hospice was there and her doctor also prescribed prednisone. I believe it gave her the strength to interact with us until the very end and it seemed to help with the pain. Not sure why.She was even able to sit in her lovely garden and enjoy the birds and flowers. God Be with You- Leanne Storch wrote: Bob, May God bless you with the strength that you need right now.
