Throughout the day, you will examine ways in which theatre can be used to transform lives. Join us and explore the basic tenets of the CANY model of drama therapy through theory and group activities. Participants will... > Experience the drama therapy process in action > Gain practical skills in how to safely explore trauma & challenging life experiences through metaphor and play > Participate in drama therapy interventions aimed at improving client relatedness, self-esteem, emotional expression and self-regulation, spontaneity and the capacity to play a diverse range of life roles > Morning refreshments will be served. > There will be an afternoon break for lunch.
