If you can wade through it, " Games People Play " by Berne might be

helpful. I still don't particularly participate in it, but I found it

useful to help me understand what was going on, and to find my own way of

joining in the " fun " . ;)

Alain

Snakes scare a lot of people. I handled them from a

young age and got comfortable w/ them, at that age

when I still had no fear about anything. :)

You might want to look for a two-volume set of books I read a while back,

" The Medical Detectives. " Fellow (French name I forget) who used to write

a column for one of the Chicago papers IIRC, about medical forensics and

various medical mysteries that came up, mostly in the U.S.

Each article starts with a medical mystery, goes through the history

behind it, and tells the story about how they found out what they found

out. Interesting stuff, some of it kinda scary.

I original discovered his work through a smaller book called " Eleven Blue

Men. " The title story there was a rather bizarre incident from back in

the 1930's or so. I won't spoil it for you, though. ;-)
