Its not about " leaving " the person - its about

handling any scarcity within yourself and turning

things into abundance - is the glass half full or half

empty sort of thing.

I think I've read a few studies where it mentions that

when people start to focus on the positive, that this

is what they start to manifest.

So, if you focus on losing someone - you've already

created a loss - even if the person isn't gone. What

if you focused on being grateful that he's with you

instead and acting as if you are, with love and

confidence?

Different stories for different people - whatever

works.

For me, it would give me a sense of " fate " instead of

a self determined attitude with some " say " in how

things happen or how I make things happen. I guess

I'm more of a Buddhist type person. Or, as some say -

god helps those who help themselves.

If its uplifting to you and its enough - then its

enough :).

Hi :)

I get what you're saying :).

For me, when I first started doing The Work, I

really didn't have my attention on being grateful for

anything - so I just wasn't. I was more accepting

about things, but it just never dawned on me to be

grateful - if that makes sense.

It wasn't until much later when I was reading about

other methods or things that the idea of being

grateful wasn't such a bad idea :). A good ol'

fashion " Thank you " for whatever, seemed to be a very

good feeling for me.

:)

It doesn't necessarily need to have even been hacked. This came up on another group once, and someone there said that the spammer can, if they know what they are doing, send something out that appears to have come from you without actually gaining access to your accountJennTha can tek t'lass outta Yorkshire...! Don't brand me, don't classify me, don't tell me what to wear. I'll be who I want to be, and I'm proud to be me.Subject: Re: (unknown)To: asthma Date: Thursday, 22 July, 2010, 21:41

Its a worm that someone gets in a bad link. Then it replicates itself into their address book and sends email to everyone in that address book. Someone might click on the link again and the process repeats. You never have a record of the emails being sent, so you wouldnt know if it was you or not. Ive heard that if you put a fake email address in with an address starting with an A (like Aaanyone@...) it supposedly blocks the worm from sending to everyone in your address book, but I dont know that that works.

Also, particularly on AOL...if you are getting spam from your own email address, they recommend that you delete your own email address from your list of contacts.

Would the original sender tell us if this is a legitimate link? Otherwise, Id suggest nobody click on the link, because it could very well be a virus or worm that will cause you all kinds of grief...

If it is a legit link, then I apologize in advance for my paranoia.

Ann

(i altered the link in my reply so it should be inactive but I wouldnt click on it anyway)

Ok but I wonder if she actually did it. Remember one of the other girls had this happen last week. We'll see. The link that came through last week was bad because my antivirus wouldn't let it open, thank goodness. I'd clicked before thinking. I had to work on my daughter's computer earlier today and clean out some tracking cookies that she managed to find. To: asthma Sent: Tue, July 27, 2010 11:34:50 PMSubject: Re: (unknown)

Great

Indian Novelis a novel (it cannot be anything else).

It is about India. It is also great, although in a greatly different way. The

author, the sophisticated Shashi Tharoor, has drawn inspiration for his book

from the Mahabharat. He has infused

the richness and complexity of the timeless epic into his writing. The Great

Indian Novel is a reflection

of Tharoor’s mastery and audacity as a writer.

The

Great Indian Novel is a story of contemporary India set

against the Mahabharat. The narrative is delightfully funny.

The characters from the Mahabharat transform

into contemporary figures who contributed immensely to shape (and deform) modern

India. The book

reveals the intricacies of Indian politics, as practiced since the ancient

times, as the reader straddles the gap between the time of the Mahabharat and

the present. The two

stories, inseparably woven together, create a literary work of unusual quality

that

has a captivating effect.

Tharoor deserves commendation for such

a brilliant concept. The Great Indian

Novel gives us remarkable insight into the mythological past and India of

the modern times. The humour makes this book very enjoyable. It is humour of a

different kind; it conveys a sense of recklessness; and it leaves an impact on

your mind. In addition, the humour effectively underlines the considerable

wisdom the book has to offer.

This book will certainly upset a few

people for its uncharacteristic depiction of India. It is strange that nobody

burnt, boycotted or spoke against it,as

has been done to a few other books. If that ever happens, it would again

highlight our literary ignorance and intellectual poverty.

Get yourself a copy of The Great Indian Novel. It will

definitely entertain you.
