Guest guest
The Environmental Illness Society of Canada has just been told by Alan Rock, Minister of Health, that the government has renaged on the funding they were to provide for the upcoming conference in Ottawa, Ontario to be held in March 2000. Judith is putting out a request for promisary notes from anyone who is able to help. The amount needed by 30 October 2000 is CDN $100,000.00 Jusith expects to make this money by March, she does not have it now. If people could send donations or book a table at the conference or put up a promisary note it would help EISC to put on an unbiased conference. The alternative is having the group that put on the one-sided show in Halifax, SPEIC funding the conference and ousting EISC. Please - if anyone can help in any way please contact Judith Spence at eisc@... Thank you for all your help. beth Bryon -- 10/00 -- The Citizen's Petition, requesting warning labels on fragrances, is still open.
