Mark, what are your ideal doses on each version? Just curious.

1) Cytomel (best)

2) Cynomel (good)

3) Triomel (ok)

4) Triyotex (weakest)

I can add to this!

5) Ti Tre (OK)

6) Tertroxin (OK)

I still prefer Cytomel or Cynomel as my two best reactions I can't tell the

difference in them.

Mark,

I'm curious if you tried just taking more triyotex? Would dosing to

the same level of symptom relief work do you think? Of course that

increases expense, LOL, so maybe just as well to stick with cynomel

regardless.

I wonder also if the fillers/coatings that make triyotex slow release

would be bothersome if a person just doubled or tripled the dose.

If you dose more Triyotex (which is slow release), how would that

work?? Because I think that cynomel works better because when we

take t-3 only and have no build up of t-4 reserves, we need the t-3

right away and slow release ain't gonna do that... it's going to

release nice and slow and it just isn't enough or fast enough,

What do you think??

Sol,

I took only one triyotex a day and it WAS better than the Armour I

switched from. But, when I took the cynomel, the triyotex didn't

give me symptom relief like cynomel did. I don't know exactly why,

but with the cynomel, I get warm (like an internal oven heating up)

right away and my temps stay so nice and even.

I think that, for me anyway, the triyotex couldn't deliver the

strength nor timing of t-3 I need. But, I know I am not optimized

on t-3 yet and that has affected my digestion so that might have been

why the triyotex wasn't enough for me. And I'm not in a place that I

can afford (health-wise) to experiment with t-3. Please let us know

if you use the slow release and how that works for you. I always

admire that you can use the hc cream... wish I could!

That is one of the reasons I take my thyroid sublingually or buccally.

Avoids that altogether. As using HC cream avoids both the stomach

irritation (I have a sensitive stomach, have had an ulcer in the past)

and the need to eat to be able to take HC.

I take 100 mcg Cynomel in the morning and 75 mcg Triyotex at bedtime.

This seems to be working for me.

I started the Triyotex when the Cynomel was difficult to get.
