Guest guest
So any of you on it? Like it? Kris, I was on Neurontin for quite some time. It was given to me for neuropathic pain involving a back problem I have. It did help with the pain, but at relatively low doses even it knocked me out. Every time I would take it I would go to sleep for a long period of time. I also noticed while taking it that I had jerking on my limbs. I would only take it if my pain were excruciating because I knew that it would knock me out and I couldn't function. gentle hugs, Sundra
Guest guest
I take just 1200mg of Neurontin, thought I have been told by the docs I may take lots more if I needed to. It has stopped my neuropathy burning and shooting pains. I still have pins and needles and pain from the neuropathy but as the present dose makes le sleepy I don't want to up it. No other obvious adverse affects. Penny UK On 12/07/2004 18:08:48, fibromyalgia_support_group wrote: > So any of you on it? Guest guest
My doctor told me that everyone has their own threshold with Neurontin whereupon they get dopey!! Mine is very low *sigh*.. anything makes me dopey.. but there isn't too far to go,lol. Antihistamines used to completely knock me out, and amitryptiline does the same thing. You must be more sensible to start with:) Penny UK On 18/07/2004 04:15:40, fibromyalgia_support_group wrote: > That's one side-effect I don't get from Neurontin.
