Would someone mind telling me how you find the beginning post to a

thread of replies? Because of my crazy life, I often do not get on

the computer as much as I would like. Sometimes I feel like I am

beating a dead horse because there have been a lot of replies to

something, and I don't know whether my input has already been

expressed!

This is SUCH a wonderful, busy group that for newbies like me it

seems like there is still a lot to learn!

Thanks!

Barbara

Barbara, sometimes I don't know what is happening either. If I am really

horrendously curious I ask. If not, I just delete and go on. I figure the

answer will come around some time. Love, Cam

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

Have a nice day everyone.

First off, I'd like to say that I doubt you'd be beating a dead horse.

I think that most people on here appreciate each individual's story,

regardless of whether or not it's similar to another's. That lets

people know that something works or doesn't work for a number of

people. Repeating what someone else says, in my opinion, reinforces

what's being said.

I'm not sure how those that get their messages with individual emails

find the original thread and see what's been said in replies.

But, if you go to the group homepage message index

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Fibromyalgia_Support_Group/messages

there is sometimes a way to find the original message and see the list

of responses.

Open the reply to the message. Click the " Up Thread " link above the

message. If it's a reply to a reply of the original message, you may

have to click Up Thread again. If not, you can scroll down and see a

list of replies to the original and you can open each one. It can be

very time consuming, though, and is probably not the answer you were

hoping for.

I use Google's gmail and it's nice because it groups original emails

and their replies together like a folder. I can see the original

email and its direct replies all at the same time. If you're

interested in checking out using gmail email to get group email, let

me know.

If I find a better answer, I'll let you know.
