Hi Paige,

Chronic IBS is a big symptom of fibro, unfortunately.

Are you drinking lots of fluids? Just be careful...you don't want to get

dehydrated. A good way to check for that...pull down on your lower eye by your

bottom eyelashes. It should be pink in there and if it is pale...you may be

dehydrated.

I have never heard of nausea as being a symptom of fibro.

Is it possible you could have a flu bug right now?

Take care and if your symptoms persist...give your doc a call.

Paige, for me, it is a part of my illness...I have had it for years and have a

prescription for Compazine (spelling?) to help with it. I would check with your

doc though...it could be something else.

Hi Paige,

I have the nausea.....especially when I've had a " bad " night. Last

night was one of those nights so I'm dealing with nausea this

morning. I also seem to have it more when I HAVE to get up early or

by a specific time so I can get somewhere. I don't know if I get all

keyed up over having to be up early and that makes me have a rough

night which in turn makes me have the nausea. I'm one of those

people who hates to be sick at their stomach more than just about

anything too..so its a real stressor for me.

Blessings,

Pixi

Paige,

I've been nauseated the last couple of days, I think there may be a virus

making the rounds in this part of the country.

I hate to feel sick too more then anything. I try to do absolutely

anything to avoid it. For me I think stress can make me feel sick and

it increases if im having a flare at the same time. Before I was

diagnosed with fms I thought I was some unfortunate person who always

got the flu, but honestly it worried me, becuz I didnt know anyone who

got the flu as often as me. Still today I have trouble knowing if I

have a flu or its a fibro attach

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the

list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check

with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with

other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in

general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls

don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to

make that situation better.

Have a nice day everyone.
