Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Well... I went for my ultrasound this morning and woooohoooo... I'm ok. :-) Gyno said the uterean lining was at the top end of normal and not to worry, but need to check frequently. At least I don't have to worry about Cancer just yet. What a relief!!! And to add good news... my fibroids and cysts on the ovaries seem to have all disappeared. If I could jump up and down for joy... I'd be doing that right now. But this day is horridly painful. My appointment was downtown and for 11:30am. I drove myself downtown and couldn't find parking anywhere close. I drove in circles a few times and finally gave up and took the first spot I could find. Uggggh... 3 blocks of walking and I was in sooo much pain. I had to stop several times and sit on various benches. Ok.. I make it to the office... doctor is late... what else is new? He was busy delivering babies and he finally got to see me around 12:30. Ok... now the long hike back to the truck... Oh my God... the pain and tears by the time I get there. I sat in the truck for a good 30 minutes before I felt well enough to drive home. I look at my watch and see... hmmm... 1:30pm... and I have a chiropractor appointment at 3:00. If I go home now, and tackle the stairs to get to our basement apartment.. I know I'll collapse and never make the appointment as pain is surely going to prevent me from climbing back up those stairs. Sooo... I drive around town like a tourist and realize... hey... I better eat something or I'll be getting one heck of headache on top of this backache, hip pain, leg pain, shoulder pain, knee pain. Soooo... off to the drive through Mc's and I was good. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with the fruit yogurt parfait. I managed to get about 1/2 the salad down and couldn't finish the rest. Pain was taking my will to eat completely away... Ok.. leftover salad to go with dinner tonight. I get to the Chiropractor and he's running late... story of my day... By the time he finally sees me, I'm ready to crawl into a corner and die. I get on his table... told him nothing of my day... he examines my back and legs and says: " Holy Smokes... what the hell happened to you today? Your back is jammed up solid and the muscles are tighter than I've ever seen it. " I tell him my story... he shakes his head... cracks my back from top to bottom.... ahhh.. that felt good.. Then he put me in the physio room... applied the ultrasound and buzzy stuff... some ice packs... and sends me home. I'm not sitting in my computer chair and finally got to take some pain meds as driving all day prevented me from taking anything for pain. Meds are kicking in... and I feel like every bone, muscle, ligament and tendon are rusted in this position. I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to stand up from this chair. Someone please pass me some WD-40 for my joints... I feel like I'm going through rigermortis and I'm not dead... UGGGGGHHHHH I think I'm about to fall asleep... my fingers are tingling and my brain is now in shutdown mode. There are so many e-mail that I want to reply to... but I can't think coherently anymore. I'll try to make it back here tonight, but I seriously doubt I'll be making any sense. Sooooo... I'll say goodnight to everyone... and hopefully I'll make it here tomorrow. Loving, gentle... but ooooh so stiff hugs, Norah -- Norah Bleazard - Burlington, Ontario Canada www.bleazard.net ~ www.janorlites.com E-MAIL= norah.fibroyahoo@... CHAT= MSN = black_dak_98@... Guest guest
LOL! I can always count on you to make an update a reason to laugh Norah! WD-40 indeed. If that works for you than please, pass some on to me. I am in serious need of some loosening up myself. LOL Seriously, I do hope you feel better soon. Than again I wish that for everyone, all the time. So I guess that basically goes without saying. Congrats on the Ultrasound hun! That is great news!!!! --- Norah Bleazard wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > Well... I went for my ultrasound this morning and > woooohoooo...
