Guest guest Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 You bet we will......right now I am having computer trouble and probably won't post tomorrow until my computer lady comes at 3 and fixes things. Love, Cam RE:RE:Good morning from th e west coast Dear Cam- You could never be rude! Actually, I live in the high desert, north of Palm Springs, so we don't get the intense heat of the low desert. We get hard freezes and a dusting of snow during the winter. Normally, our weather is very dry-extremely low humidity, so the swamp cooler putting water back into the air is very effective, and works VERY well. It's just when we get a day where the weather is already humid, adding the extra water to the air is not a good way to cool. But, we don't have that many humid days, and swamp coolers are much cheaper to operate than a conventional AC. I am an animal lover, as you ae, and " my girls " are an 8 yr old teacup pomeranian named Jazzy, and a 2yr old chihuaua(I admit, I can't spell!) named Solow. They are my " babies " . Solow sleeps with me and my husband, she MUST be touching me, and Jazzy sleeps in our laundry basket. We have 2 kids at home yet, a 16yr old daughter, and a 14yr. old son. I also have a 27 yr old son, and a 21yr old daughter, and 2 absolutely gorgeous grandsons, who are listed in the photo albumns as " 's Boys " . It is wonderful getting to know you, and I'm sure we'll chat again. Gentle hugs- 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Quote
