I've been a listener all my life because my life depended on my listening and

not talking. I'm half deaf so it's a major effort to hear people... especially

those with their backs turned to me and I can't read their lips. ANYWAY, I

learn more than most by listening. I get my support via " listening. " Can you

see where I'm coming from?

See my feeling on it is, you cant have a support group if your not posting. You

cant get the support you need. It's like going to AA meetings and just sitting

there saying noting. Your getting no support your just learning about the people

around you. That isnt support, But that is how I am seeing it. When we are able

to get the entire moderator staff and both owners online at a relitivly same

time we can discuss this better. But it is a thing that alot of members are

thinking about since only 1/3 of the 500+ members actually post.

Welcome, . I, too, have some hearing difficulties, but definitely not as

much as you do and often have to read lips in noisy situations. Glad you won't

have to worry about us turning our backs on you to hear what we have to share!

I'm sorry that this guy thought he had to come into our group and start trouble.

I am glad that he came in - otherwise some of our friends we never knew we had

would still be in the background and not coming forward to share with us.

Welcome - I'm glad you all are coming forward to the sharing table to be with

us. There is healing and power in our sharing together.

Which guy is that? I guess I must have missed something because I don't

remember reading about a guy coming into the group and starting trouble. Then

again, I think there were a few messages I didn't get to read because my hubby

was trying to get me off the computer and get ready for bed.

Ok - so it's the fog kicking in again - it was on the other fibro group I belong
