Fog question

Hi all -- I've got a question. I know that we all know about the

fibro-fog and what it does. However, I've been noticing something

different lately and thought I'd describe it to you and see if any

of you can relate.

On the days when I'm foggy most of the day, I find that something

strange happens. I'll be talking to someone... my kids, dad,

husband, friend, doesn't really matter who and I'll start getting

frustrated. Maybe something that I am trying to explain to them and

they are not getting it or something that I am talking to one of my

teens about... you all know how frustrating and aggravating teens

can be. So, as I start getting frustrated... I start getting

foggier, but not just not remembering etc.. this is actually FEELING

the fog.... like my head is filling with cotton. Then I start

getting hot in my face and head and I start feeling pressure in my

head and chest and arms.

I finally get angry and because I am angry I get irrational -

usually directed toward myself. I find that I usually need to

postpone the discussion to a later time ... and a non-foggy time.

The feeling dies down and goes away eventually, but will come back

if I re-engage in a battle/discussion.

I don't get these feelings when I am not foggy and the feelings seem

to be worse when I am in a flare and foggy than when I am just plain

old hurting and foggy.

And if any of you are going to recommend seeing a doctor .... which

type would you recommend??? I can go back to my gp as he seems

willing to work with me, but within the next month I also have appts

with neurology, ENT, pain clinic, and rheumatology (and gyn, but I

don't think that applies here - LOL ----- UNLESS, of course, my head

is stuck where the sun doesn't shine and then they may actually be

able to help - LOL)

Okay, that turned into a mini book. Any advice, suggestions, or just

speaking up and saying " I have that too " will be greatly welcomed.

God Bless,

a
