Love you, Tami -- my final (maybe) conclusion... hi everyone, after many, many trials with mostly nothing but error, i am concluding that for some reason or another, The Work is not for me. it seems to cause me much more pain than anything else, and clearly i am not cut out for it. i want to thank ALL of you for your support and your insights and your friendship to me as i've popped in and out of here over the last couple years. especially Tami, , LTW, Roslyn and . thank you so much, it's meant the world to me. i won't forget it. goodbye. love, jeremy
Guest guest
Dear , I invite you to be gentle with yourself. Be still, go inside and see what is really true for you. The Work doesn’t work. Can you think of just ONE time when The Work did work for you? If you can think of even just one, the thought “The Work doesn’t work” is simply not true. When you believe that thought, you avoid doing The Work and stay in misery. Also, can you really know that The Work is not working for you? said, “Just keep doing The Work, progress is none of your business.” I can see how it is true for you when you said that TW seems to cause you pain. And can you really know that? Could it be your uninvestigated thinking that is causing you pain? I invite you to judge The Work on paper and put all your painful concepts up against inquiry. Also, you are not supposed to feel pain. Is that really true? What is the reality of it? Do you? What happens to your pain when you believe that you are not supposed to feel it? Who would you be, when you are feeling pain, if you couldn’t think “I should not feel pain”? Thank you for this. This is my Work.
