Guest guest Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 Speaking of pot, I haven't used it in a very long time, and I've been thinking that might have something to do with my Autism. I have an extreme reaction and become totally incapacitated. I hallucinate. I can't carry on any kind of conversation. I have prosopagnosia, and my people recognition systems get messed up, so I'm no longer sure (or can't figure out) who my companions are. I remember one time trying to convince friends not to take me to the hospital (because they thought I was having a psychotic episode), when I could barely get out the word " no. " I can't drive, because I can't even find the road, and I can't walk anywhere, because I get disoriented and tend to stare at people. All I can do is listen to music and have sex (not always an appropriate activity). I soon learned that smoking marijuana wasn't a very good idea. I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar reaction.
