Guest guest
, You're welcome. I didn't see my post come through, but obvoiusly you did (^_~). Just know that you are an inspiration to others by telling us what tools you have learned and used along your journey through withdrawal and recovery from these toxic poisons. I like to think of life as a journey and we each write our own "Journey Through Life" book. Some chapters are short and some are long, but each chapter is unique to only ourselves, because no one else walks our shoes and has our own individual experiences. When all is said and done, I will have my own "Journey Through Life" book that will be filled with unique experiences, joys, and such. I will have a compilation of how I "reacted and responded" to various events, experiences, and challenges. And this will clearly show that with each one "I became stronger" because of "new tools" I picked up along the way and used/applied, and threw out the rusty ones that no longer worked!!! How I became stronger will be evident from the knowledge I gained on my journey through "reading and listening". So this journey through life is a "growth process" of gathering new tools, throwing out the rusty ones that no longer work .... and closing a chapter and starting a new one. Please continue to share with us. You never know who you might be impacting in your own journey through life !!!!!! And this W & R Group is fine one avenue........... Respectfully...... Yes, thinking differently and remembering!! : ) Wanted to share this inspiration..... We form a circle of hope. We pass the flame to one another. If my candle goes out, yours will light it. Together we make a brighter light... And each candle promises something of its own; that darkness is not the last word.... McCauley Went from shaking and crying in the middle of the night last night, to pulling it together by this evening...this taper has been a bit hard and I find I am very edgy and sharp to those around me. Found myself apologizing to the receptionist at my chiropractors office today for being so snappy and of course to my kids a couple times. My kids are going back to school in a week and that is a very anxiety provoking time for me. They do great, I fall apart!! So trying to do things a bit different, talk more to friends etc., my therapist, and not taper again till after they are settled in, or should I say, I am settled in so as not to be dealing with too much extra withdrawal at the same time. : ) Thanks for listening. Deep cleansing breathes and much healing to all, Sincerely, : ) ========================== From: creativesources2@... Bravo to Morse for recommending this Group to you for withdrawing and recovering from your years on drugs. Your work on labelling emotions differently definitely shows a "healthy mindset", ie., "I am feeling overwhelmed by..." There is no challenge, absolutely none, that can come our way that is worth giving up a life over. All we need to do is learn how to "react and respond" differently by using new tools, so we remain in control and in charge of those "temporary" challenges and emotions. It's about maintaining/keeping your power and not giving it away to a "temporary" challenge and emotion. We're glad you are here and already you have contributed and shared a valuable tool for others to use .......... Just me.. Also from others who have had suicidal thoughts and feeling for a long time, and how they managed to overcome these. I have done a lot of work here and know often it is that I am overwhelmed by something, and have tried to label my emotions differently, instead of saying "I wish I was dead, etc" I try to say what I am feeling, "overwhelmed by...." etc. That has helped some. Thank you for listening. Sincerely, : ) ==== ====
