Guest guest
i wonder if there is anyone who has developed the type 2 diabetes from all of the weight gain as a side effect from taking these medicines. Yes, most of the SSRIs and some antipsychotics cause Type II diabetes. It's almost epidemic, and I wonder how many of these new cases are directly related to psych meds. "Blind Reason" a novel of pharmaceutical intrigue Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again. It's Unsafe At Any Dose
Guest guest
I had packed the pounds on whilst taking these drugs,my cholestrol raised to moderately high levels ...........!!! I have been able to get clean from a cocktail which included Effexor, Lithium, Neurontin & Librium Unfortunately I have a nasty peripheral neuropathy and suffer greatly restricted mobility .............therefore vigerous exercise is not yet possible for me. Yet The simple fact of removing thrse toxic drugs & the gradual normalisation of my personal chemistry has resulted in a noticable, very welcome & utterly necessary reduction of my weight by 50 pounds. Like the snow in late spring, it simply melts away. > In a message dated 11/18/04 3:28:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, > hbuzan13@y... writes: > > > > i wonder if there is anyone who has developed the type 2 diabetes from all > > of the weight gain as a side effect from taking these medicines. > > > > > > Yes, most of the SSRIs and some antipsychotics cause Type II diabetes.
