If you are low-carbing, you should be popping two calcium tablets a day. In

fact, many people take a combo calcium/magnesium pills (called Cal-Mag

generally). It is a good idea to take a sensible variety of supplements to

optimize our health. Even the old-fashioned medical authorities now see the

wisdom of popping supplements, rather than eating *extra* food just to get

the vitamins and minerals.

Hi All

gave me this link about calcium supplements

http://www.healthcastle.com/calciumpill.shtml

I was taking Solgar's calcium " 600 " from Oyster Shell, but

said it was not a good one.

Having read the link gave me, my thick brain is still a

bit confused as to which one to buy, I know you all have bigger

brains than me, so rather than bother again. I thought

maybe one of you maybe able to help. From the article I think they

are saying that the best type is Calcium Citrate or Calcium

Carbonate. But then it says to be careful of Calcium Citrate if you

have acid reflux ( not sure entirely what this is?)

Supplements seem to be harder to find here in the UK, or maybe I am

just not looking in the right place.

I have found Calcium Citrate which is Solgar brand or Dolomite

Magnesium Carbonate 200mg Calcium Carbonate 240mg Tablets which is

Natures Own?

Does anyone have any clues?

Many Thanks everyone

Love you all
