And curious if anyone on this list either sees enough Medicare to make the money worth all the work to get it or qualifies based on Medicaid numbers. I have had 5 women fly in to see me from Alaska as well as 9 women driving from Seattle (6 hours one way) , Idaho and northern California as well as the whole state of Oregon. There are only 2 fast cameras in the Oregon. Most of us are at medicl schools or in research facilities. My colleague in Portland does sports medicine and he travels with the Olympic team. I also have Non Profit status and I have several clinical studies in process.My Proactive Breast Wellness Program has been reversing inflammatory changes in the breast in 6-12 months as noted by our cutting edge infrared camera as well as alterations in their saliva and serum hormone levels. The Proactive Program is a 5 CD set with 3 1/2 hours of narrative and a provider's professional module CD with the handouts to give to your nurse to provide a billable visit to your office as well as to sell the CD sets at retail to make some money for your office. I believe that there is no floor for the number of MDC patients you need to

have, but the payment is based on a percentage and may not be worth doing. We

will qualify, we have 12% MDC. Our EHR is certified and they are putting all of

the pieces together. The one issue for us was the security piece. We found that

through COHIRO, there are " Extention agencies " in every region of the state. We

have talked to them and they will do the entire review of our EHR and security

piece for free. Contact yours and see what you need to do. You can do it for any

90 day period next year, or even the year after, so you could recruit more MDC

patients, it might be worth it to get up the $44k dollars.

I get enough income from Medicare every year that it will

definitely be worthwhile. I got $800 for PQRI so I may not get all the

possible money but I will get something.

I believe that 30% of your gross receipts have to Medicaid to

qualify using Medicaid rules. Which really is a joke as Medicaid doesnâ€™t

pay much of anything.

Also, not all extension agencies are free. The NJ one was

only recruiting practices that donâ€™t already have EHR but are looking for

payment also.

I believe that there is no floor for the number

of MDC patients you need to have, but the payment is based on a percentage and

may not be worth doing. We will qualify, we have 12% MDC. Our EHR is certified

and they are putting all of the pieces together. The one issue for us was the

security piece. We found that through COHIRO, there are " Extention

agencies " in every region of the state. We have talked to them and they

will do the entire review of our EHR and security piece for free. Contact yours

and see what you need to do. You can do it for any 90 day period next year, or

even the year after, so you could recruit more MDC patients, it might be worth

it to get up the $44k dollars.

We've just starting looking at how we might qualify for the federal money as we

have EHR. There is a local group in Seattle that was awarded a grant to help

practices less than 10 providers understand how to qualify. So we jumped

through hoops, filled out aplications and had our first free consultation.

Now that's another whole story. But one point was made clear- your money is

either based on percent Medicare ( of which we have about 1% ) or you have to

have 30% or more Medicaid per year of encounters. We have about 37% with no

insurance or Medicaid but only 26% looking at just Medicaid visits.

So seems we won't qualify for any money! Must say I'm amazed. And curious if

anyone on this list either sees enough Medicare to make the money worth all the

work to get it or qualifies based on Medicaid numbers.
