Guest guest
Abandonment is defined as termination of a health care provider- patient relationship, without assurance that an equal or greater level of care will continue. The physician is limited to whatever tools he or she has with them, or, they are limited to whatever tools that arrive in the ambulance. The paramedic should be able to operate as well or better with his or her own equipment than would the doctor. By definition, the paramedic would be working at an equal level. The physician's knowledge base would, or should be greater than the medic's, but they would be limited by the environment and equipment. This would have to exclude the issue of abandonment. Just a thought. Hall ______________________________________________________________________ No tricks, no gimmicks - just a great intro rate for Internet users!
