Guest guest Posted January 30, 2006 Report Posted January 30, 2006 Hello , If your friend is co-dependent I have 3 words that should scare the hell out of her (might scare her off) but will be absolutely necessary. Borders, borders, borders. In severing ties if that is what you are choosing to do, there's no way to make it look like you aren't severing ties, but there's a nice way to do it. However if she's codependent she'll probably feel hurt even then. So I'm not sure there. Question? How do I tell my codependent friend I can't have in my life anymore. She is to destructive and abusive. I will not allow anyone anymore to make me there emotional dumping group. I wish her well. I wish with all my heart I didn't have to say goodbye, but I know I must. How did anyone out there handle saying goodbye to the ones you love but can't have in your life? How do find the right words? Problems? Ask our friendly List Manager for help at @.... SEND HER ANY POSTS THAT CONCERN YOU; DO NOT Respond ON THE GROUP. To order the KO bible " Stop Walking on Eggshells, " call 888-35-SHELL () for your copy. We also refer to " Understanding the Borderline Mother " (Lawson) and " Surviving the Borderline Parent, " (Roth) which you can find at any bookstore. Welcome to the WTO community!
