Guest guest Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Hi - just checking my plan with the Isocort. I've read conflicting things on different boards and websites so I want to check here to make the final decision on what I need to do. I'm at 3 grains Armour - been there for about two weeks. Take 2.5 in the AM and .5 at lunchtime. Should I decrease the dose since I'm just starting Isocort? Also, my plan was to take the Isocort in slowly increasing dosages in the AM when I take my Armour dose and again at lunch when I take my second Armour dose. However, my saliva tests showed that the adrenals weren't depressed in the first morning time, they were depressed late morning and afternoon. So, is taking the Iso in the AM and lunch the right timing? Also, as I work towards the 8 pellets per day I was going to split the dosing three times (AM, lunch and dinner). Is this right? I feel pretty good about having a plan in place - just don't want to mess things up and definitely don't want to end up being awake all night. Thanks, Kathy in NJ Quote
