Hi Kathy,

Yes, life changes and roles reverse. Sometimes I think it is a test

of a good, strong relationship. Your's seems to be weathering the

storm and will go through more changes as more time passes.

Prior to my surgery, I wasn't able to do anything. I had to use all

my strength to get to work and that was it. My husband didn't really

complain, he just did what he needed to do for us. Now that I'm

healthy again and active, the relationship is evolving once again.

He got so used to doing everything that in some ways it's hard for

him to stop and allow me to do things for myself and for him.

And now, for the first time in our entire 8 years together, I finally

weigh less than him and don't think I don't take every opportunity to

remind him of that. LOL

Just love your husband and he'll love you back. It doesn't matter

who does the laundry this week or next. Somehow in the end it all

works out.
