Guest guest
Dawn, Can you get someone that is just solely over your care while @ the hospital or through this time and everyone else coordinates thru them? This is actually how the medical system is supposed to work. The family dr. sends you to a specialist and the specialist recommends and gets back with the family dr. and says this is what I think needs to happen. Then one person is taking care of you and knows everything else about your other problems. Personally this is where I think the system is failing. I'm not saying it's a perfect system but a lot better than we have now. I'm so sorry that you are having such horrible problems. I've never had blood clots, thank God, and I can imagine they are very scary. And having to take the blood thinners has to be pretty scary too. Do you also wear support hose to keep them from going down in your legs? How long do they think it will take for all of the clots to dissolve? This is so very dangerous. I will be praying for you until they are gone, Dawn. Please keep us posted on your progress. I'm sure they are very painful as well. Is your pain solely from the clots or do you have other chronic pain factors? I'm sorry I don't know you very well and am having to ask so many questions. Just keep posting here, we'll try to keep your spirits up and definitely be supportive. Gentle hugs, I do hope they are gone very soon and will pray for such. ~Tommie~ Subject: Hey missed you all! My pain is worse, I hate my pain Dotor. When you have blood clots in your lungs, you have to walk and meds with my meds thinners, I feel drowsy all day! My pain doc can't do any cortisone shots through the Epidural way, until 8 months from now. I have to give blood every week to see if I need to up my Warafin. I am so busy, now, because if I don't I could die. In the hospital, I hated it. I was the youngest on on the Cardiac Ward. I had to walk aroung the floor to work out, so to say. But my Pain Doc said I can't do that until later, seeing p/t. It is very humid here in NJ., A lot of traffic for I live near the shore area . I can't drive, as I do get weak some days. I hope and pray my pain and my blood clots in my lungs are all gone, soon!!!!!!!! I am still around and hope to get online more, since I am going crazy unable to do much! Miss you all~ Hugs, Dawn "
