Write to OPRAH. She'll make it mainstream. Anyone want to go on Oprah with

their NADA?

I am OUT!

LOL! My thoughts exactly. Most people have a pre-conceived notion that

adults are somehow ... entire people. Normal people. And Ive bashed my

head against a brick wall until I thought my brain would fall out and

pop onto the floor...

Yes, I totally saw that episode. It seemed to me that the young 24 year

old girl living at home and raging was the bpd. I also felt though that

she may have more attributes of bpd vs ingrained from childhood bpd,

KWIM? I mean to say she seems like someone who could get over it or

recover/maybe lots of fleas or something, if she was not around her

FOO. They all seem like heavy addicts/enablers/benefiters from the

tantrums she threw- lots of anger issues that she acted out. I think

that one older sister seemed more like a bpd in many ways than the

younger sister- being manipulative enough to slam on the breaks when 24

year old wasn't wearing a seatbelt and almost ramming her through the

window and yet only saying the part where lil sis slapped her. I

would've probably slapped her too if she screwed w/my safty like that-

seemed totally manipulative and in that regard the one that seemed the

angriest/younger sis, is probably the only one intouch w/the anger than

seemed really, really deep in that family. Hence verdict is still out

if she is truly a bpd or just angry and acting out and trying to

overcome a crap childhood filled w/fun abandonment issues.

However, the other group of people, the two daughters and mother, were

clearly, IMHO, a case of bpd. That mother was w/o question a borderline

and why they chose to still stay in contact w/her is beyond me.

Dr.Phil states in his mainpage that guests on his show can not already

be diagnosed w/a mental illness for the most part as he knows how

dangerous it would be to his ratings to actually uncover the bpd

diagnosis. I do, however, agree w/most of what he says about behaving

your way to success. I believe behavior is one of the first steps for a

bpd and then deeper psycholanalysis of history and such. This disorder

is clearly about behaviors, but also healing the past.

Anyway, I like Dr.Phil sometimes. I don't like Oprah hardly ever at all

anymore. She irks me.

It's funny how we can just *spot* a BP a gazillion miles off.

Don't know about you, but I start running.

I actually wonder how *I* appear, or at least appeared, with all the

damned fleas I had.
