Guest guest Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Sometimes I do that too. It was so ingrained in us. About your friend, remeber that there is comfort in what we know even if it is unhealthy. Just be aware of that. My theropist said I have to develop radar on who's good for me and who's bad. I think I'm well on my way to that.Had to say goodbye to a codependent friend. She was to destructive to my well being. Still don't feel like I quite fit in with the " normal " people, though. They didn't have what we had so I feel how could they ever understand. I think thats the way we see ourselves-that projection from our BPD's. I don't think the so called " normal " people see us that way. They see us as " normal " Quote
