Jumping in on this one because although I was a skeptic for years,

puberty drove home that the moon does seem to affect some people. It

definately affects me as I don't sleep as well (and don't generally

notice it is because of the full moon until I venture outside and see

it) and consequently get puffy as a result of the lack of sleep.

That is how it impacts my body anyways. I don't know about the tide

thing; I would think it would be immeasurable, but an amusing theory

nonetheless!!!

Congrats on finishing your second challenge. This third one of mine

is off to a good start so far, despite being absolutely miserable

Thurs-Sat of last week as a result of exceedingly sore muscles. No

pain, no gain (or loss, either). No missed workouts, anyways.

As far as Tanita scales, that form of measurement is very sensitive

to water levels, too. If you're actually a little on the dehydrated

side, the impedence meters used at the gym will actually read a

higher % bodyfat, and the Tanita scales are similar. Did a little

research on this myself a few months back... I'll have to dig up the

info another time.

You are continueing to inspire me ! Great job on completing challenge

#2! It is great that you are keeping track of your measurements, weight and

BF%, which gives you some concrete evidence of change. How about your clothes?

What differences happened there this round?

Keep up the great work!!

Funny! I sure never thought of that. Moon phase and bodyfat

ratios? THanks for lightening my seriousness. I just may look for

another pair of calipers, hoping I can find a good one for not much

money. Otherwise I might just shell out the $5 to have the pro do

it.
