Guest guest
--- Jodie, yes in some ways my online friends know me better than my other friends-isnt that wierd? Part of it is my friends dont really want to hear about my pain and all that it entails. My online friends are more than happy to give me support when I need it and I, in turn, can give support to someone else. I feel bad for you having to go through the dilaudid on your pump. My pain doc gives me dilaudid for breakthrough pain and it works most of the time without any side effects-isnt it funny how different meds affect everyone different? I have a household that includes a super supportive hubby, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. when my pain gets too much I also can talk to them - and they dont talk back. I love my pets-do you have any??? I dont have any children and dont think I will. I had a hysterectomy last Oct. and its waaay to expensive to adopt. Besides, with my pain it would be hard to have small child. Anyway a little more about me and a note to let you know I am thinking of you kelizabeth In Hugs-N-Pain , " jodielbunker " wrote: > > Hey Kathleen, > > You are so very welcome. Guest guest
I SO AGREE WITH YOU...PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE, EVEN THOSE WHO ARE UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO SUFFER WITH CHRONIC PAIN. I AM LIKE YOU, WHEN I AM IN PAIN, I GET ON THE QUIET SIDE. SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK I AM CRYING, MAD, WHATEVER, BUT I AM NOT. MY FAMILY (which is my husband) IS EXTREMELY NICE ABOUT IT. I LOVE HIM FOR BEING THERE FOR ME. HE IS A GREAT GUY. YOU ALSO ASKED ABOUT PETS. I HAVE 1 DOG, 1 CAT, BUT I NO LONGER HAVE ALL MY HUGE FISH. I MISS THEM. MY PETS, TOO, ARE GREAT. THEY BOTH LAY DOWN WITH AND DON'T LEAVE MY SIDE UNTIL I GET UP. THEY ARE SUCH DARLINGS. THAT'S ABOUT IT, HONEY, FEEL YUK TONIGHT. HOPE TO GET IT DIALED IN CORRECTLY SOON. Guest guest
I really think that dogs and cats have emotions. I had a poodle mix that would sit on my daughters bed when I left to look out the window and stayed there until I came back. There was a time that she was begging to be picked up. After ignoring her for about 15 minutes I picked her up and she had tears! Scientists try to say that they are just a bundle of nerves with learned reactions! Guest guest
I think it's a great story. Wow..that is a lot of cats. I would have a hard time getting rid of any cats. I attach to them right away. I wonder if I could ever be a kitty foster home for cats up for adoption. I would have an awful time giving one up.
