Jacquie -

Thanks....

You know what the worst part is? She didn't even break my nose. If she at

least REALLY break my nose, it would be an opportune moment to get that

nosejob I've wanted.

But no, it's not even broken, just really bruised and sore and painful.

Everytime I yawn or smile, it hurts, and then my blood boils again.

They are having a Halloween class party and parade right now at school. The

parents and siblings were invited. I assume that most of the parents

attended, but did I go? NO. I don't want to go. Don't want to see them

until I absolutely, legally must.

Besides, time is whizzing by right now, and I am still not getting that

refreshing feeling that I normally do, of missing them. I think it's not

coming today LOL.

I can't imagine getting knocked unconscious. I don't know what I would do.

I did tell Shaun to be nice to me though, because if my nose gets knocked up

one more time, it will undoubtedly really look like someone beat me up.

Nobody would believe that one little child could do it, and I could very

easily say that he did, if he acts like an asswipe.

And it does help to know has done something similar, although it would

definitely help more if he did it with his FOREHEAD instead of with a dog

bone. Then again, there is something funny about it being a dog bone. I

did giggle LOL.

Grace,

You could come over to my messy house any time you want to!

Now that goes to school--he's not even here until 2:30.

I'm really serious....you can come over as soon as this stupid cold is gone,

okay?

(probably 2 more days of it--yuck!)

Thanks, Kandie.

I actually feel a little better after talking to my mom for an hour.

The possibility of my parents moving up here is quite real. Slim, but real.

And that is definitely more than " out of the question " from several months

ago. The thought in itself cheers me up. Imagine..... Grace drops off

kids, goes to work, someplace. All day. Grandma picks up kids, cooks for

kids at home, takes care of said kids, until Grace comes home?

Or .... Grandma successfully watches kids while Grace and Shaun watch a

movie?

Wow. I can't wipe the smirk off my face.

Now, if I can just fatten up that 'slim " part, I'm set.

What a mess.

There's nothing I can say to make it any better, but would it helped to know

Oh Grace....I'm so sorry about your day....

This exact thing happened to Terry with Sam....not twice on the same day but

2 or 3 times.....twice resulting in black eyes...I felt so bad for her. Of

course, then she looked like someone beat the shit out of her...which was

true really...Sam head butted her....but there were a few people who thought

it was me....

Great....

She has a couple of lesbian friends...not the nice lesbians...the kind of

lesbians that think all uncles should be made into aunt kind....anyway, they

were convinced that " yours truly " was now beating his wife.

I'm glad we're done that stage...I hope...

Well, I thought you told me that I would have to abide by the contract since

I didn't include a finish date?

In any case, I paid for more reasons than just that.

I *know* he will finish the job. I just don't have a clue as to when. Not

only that, while I can use the last payment as leverage, I'm a little leery

about using 2 payments, because that is a whole lot more money than just one

payment. I have several things that he has promised to do outside of the

contract, like fixing a leaky hose faucet and mending a fence in one

corner - - - so I think it might be wiser for me to stay in his good graces

until that is done. The last payment is due when everything is COMPLETED,

instead of at the commencement of something, so I *think* I made a stable

decision.

I just know that I pretty much gave him 6500 less reasons to hurry up.

I hate him, but it's beneficial to me to have him finish this job, so kiss

his ass, I must.

Gee, this makes me wonder who's paying who here, huh?

Sometimes, I really wonder if Terry and I are leading parallel lives. If

nothing else, then we seem to think alike a lot of the times. While it IS a

tragedy, I am glad to hear that it's happened to more than just me. Having

it be just me, and just my child would suck MORE.

So... you're claiming this is a PHASE? Like... uh, what age does it pass?

" Not the nice lesbians " ???? LMAO - you crack me up, Ron. I take it they

don't approve of you as a male? HEE HEE

Thanks for understanding, Ron. I feel a little better than this morning,

but I have been really cautious around Madison's head, as I don't know when

it will come propelling towards me as a weapon.

I settled on the counters. He brought over two samples of something else,

and we compared both inside and outside. It wasn't identical, but very

similar. Good enough. I was still annoyed, but not to the point of eating

him as prey.

This payment was due at " the commencement of the interior trim " which has

begun, to some degree. I had the mindset to withhold this payment until he

went and found me the same exact granite, but one look at him and I realized

I am just way beyond yelling and screaming at a grown man. Totally

resigned.

I'm just going to chew him up and spit him out in chunks when he's finished.

Ron, I thought the same thing. My children and I have unintentionally

collided foreheads before, and they have bumped into other portions of my

head. Usually, I am okay enough to be more concerned about their heads than

mine, as it doesn't hurt too much.

Grace,

you poor thing. I havent had a day like that in a while. I have 2

boys but one is older by almost 2 yrs and that makes a difference. At

Well, gee, Ron.....

If I lived in Georgia, I'm sure that this same money would have gotten me a

somewhat nicer house, and then I wouldn't NEED a contractor. I hope not,

anyhow. How much does 550K buy out there? Over here, we get CRAP.

Excellent neighborhood, 1986 home, old windows, a roof that looks like it

has bandaids on it, and a fence keeling over. Oh, and a little closet that

they call KITCHEN. And I must do something about that textured ceiling - -

I hate it.

But then y'all have LAND out there..... so I might have just tried to build

a house, huh? And then where would I be?

Nuts. I'd be nuts.

Then again, you'd have your money, and my losing my sanity just MIGHT be

worth it if you can give bio-dad a dose of his own meds........

Grace,

Kep has head-butted me numerous times. I've learned to keep my face clear

of his head at all times! Just to let you know, he hasn't done it in a long

time (knocking on wood). In the past few months Kepler has become a real

JOY to live with. He is happy all the time and rarely tantrums. He still

has his bad days but they are fewer than they used to be. I think that the

hardest time is from 2-4. I've heard that from others as well. Once your

girls learn to communicate better, some of those nasty behaviors will stop.

It really, really made a difference in Kep.
