Guest guest
I was on Celexa for a while and then switched to Prozac when I gained 10# w/o change in diet or exercise. I've gained another 10# and want to go off Prozac to see if that is the reason. Anyone else gain with Prozac and go off? Results?
Guest guest
I've gained 20 on paxil in less than a year. I desperately want to know if the weight comes off once you stop taking it. It's been a month and a half and I havent lost any but I never gained weight before in my life. I know it is due to the paxil. They say that ssri's may slow the metabolism as well as cause you to eat more and be less active. > > I was on Celexa for a while and then switched to Prozac when I > > gained 10# w/o change in diet or exercise. Guest guest
I also gained weigt on Prozac, and still haven't lost any ( 2 months off), but I think we need to be patient, because I still feel that my body is " confused " . I hate to have this extra weight, but obsessing about it makes it only worse, or so it seems. So I try to do yoga, a bit of cardio and have invested in a home gym for power work outs. Hope this helps. I know that the yoga helps mentally , and therefore I try to meditate as well. Although the day has not enough hours for a working woman with husband, tow children and six dogs to look after. Try and be a bit patient, because I think it is a matter of (a lot of) time, before your body will start becoming its own self again.
