Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 The heat could be from low estrogen which your doctor I ma assuming has treated. Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I had a blood test and oestrogen was found to be low, along with DHEA and testosterone. Progesterone was alright though. IGF-1 was also low. I'm low in just about everything. I never had these problems with heat before though - only last week when my Armour increases over 4 weeks caught up with me at the same time as getting a virus, and crashed my adrenals. Before then my temps were 97-98. I stopped taking Armour for 3 days and got rid of the hyper symptoms, and have started again today on 2 x 1/4 grains. My heart rate was up to 120 this morning, and I feel shaky all the time, despite the Pred and cortef. The hypoglycemia is brutal, as is the insommnia. I also have horrendous muscle cramps in my feet, which i have read could be lack of potassium? I have been reading an 's forum and all this is horribly familiar. Do you consider yourself to have s? Anyway, I am just wondering whether taking all this stuff in one go is too much for my body, and I should drop the oestrogen and progesterone stuff and concentrate on the adrenals and Armour. If it was the increase in oestrogen that was causing the rise in temps would that be expected to go over time, once the body adjusts? Sorry - so confused, and feel horrid Nicola > > The heat could be from low estrogen which your doctor I ma assuming has > treated. Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 No I don't think I have 's, but you are in worse shape than I am. I think your have Pituitary problems as all your low levels indicate. I thin the virus is what did you in and I would continue with the hormones as they will only help if you are low in them. I think your muscle cramps are from low sodium which is VERY common in adrenal crisis. Do you take sea salt? If already taking it , I would increase it. I went for five years with horrid spasms and the doctors all kept checking my potassium levels... The sea salt has stopped them but I have to increase mine in the summer to make up for the extra work I do and sweating. I take 1 tsp twice a day in the summer and that seems to work for me. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Quote
Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Hi Nicola, What is air hunger? Love, Pamelaimgeha wrote: Last week I have had an adrenal crash and have gone back to square one in terms of symptoms - racing heart, air hunger, savage hypoglycemia, insommnia, shakiness etc etc. Talk is cheap. Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Air hunger is when you need to consciously take a deep breath and it almost feels like you forget to breathe in enough air. You get relief form a really deep breath, and it feels like normal breathing is not enough air for you. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Quote
