Guest guest Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Wow, Jody, that must be intense!!! Have you discovered anything that helps??? Zoe I wish I got severe muscle spasms only in my legs. I get them all over my body. This morning when I went outdoors and picked the newspaper up off the ground, some large muscle along the side of my body cramped. The slightest movement can start them. Guest guest Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 The spasms I used to get from low sodium were legs once in a while but the most common one was the muscles in my ribcage area. Swinging my torso from side to side was the only thing that would relax them, and totally debilitating as from the point of one starting, unless I had Quinine pills to take, they would restart every time I bent over or moved those muscles in any way. If I was carrying a dog, as I do alot of in my business, I just had to drop them. Extremely painful! Now I occasionally get one starting if I do not realize I have sweated too much or over exerted in warm weather and taken extra sea salt. This is why in spring I switch to 1 full tsp sat twice a day but in winter I only need 1/2 tsp twice a day. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Quote
