Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 Anne have you ever had an ACTH Stim test? I am wondering if your are secondary hypo.. or do you have Hashi's? Anyway.. The pred does stay in your system longer so is in effect stronger. With you normally taking 35MG a day of HC I would try 7.5 MG a day in divided doses. has told me that even though it is in the system longer, it should still be taken in at least 2 doses as it just works better that way. I have not had a stim test because my endos say nothing is wrong with me. And I dont know for sure about the hashi's becasue I have never been tested for antibodies. But I am thinking that I probably do. Its going to be a while before I can do the testing myself just due to $$$ problems and hubby needs his done first cause he wont even try the armour unless he has something in black and white which means he probably never will. So stubborn. But then again using me for an example I dont really blame him in not thinking that thyroid would help anyone. I am not holding my breath though since nothing really seems to help except I think the iodine helps some ONLY if I paint it on my skin. Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 If it said EC before the Delta it is Enteric Coated ans can't be split. So maybe just try taking 5MG of it and 10-15 of the HC? That will give you an idea if it is what you need anyway. Then next tie you order order some of the 1MG..
